Kids Books on Kindle: Sales Trends

April 8, 2015 — Children’s eBook sales have seen a recent slowdown during the first quarter of 2015. This development follows an earlier surge in sales towards the of last year after the announcement of Amazon’s Kids’ Book Creator in September 2014.

Understanding the Trends

The good news is that the whole Children’s eBook genre continues to rank high on Amazon Kindle and sells almost as well as Teen & Young Adult. The 10-month trend for kids books is still pointing upward:

It seems that the initial hype around the Amazon Kids Book Creator has been cooling off a little.
